Heather Cobbs is the director and owner of I Heart Therapy.
Heather is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 9 years experience working with HIV positive LGBTQ+ population, older adults with geriatric issues, and clients with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, grief, and end of life concerns.
Heather is passionate about working with adult women that are focused on healing from the past, and are on a journey to grow self love, and a positive self-image with focus on changing self talk from negative to positive.
Heather is a person centered therapist with a warm, interactive, and supportive style. She strives to create a space where her clients feel safe and respected and are able to experience therapy as positive and helpful. Her approach is solution focused and strengths based while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness. Heather is a firm believer in the power of positive thinking and the ability to create your dream life and relationships. She enjoys assisting clients in this process of change.
Heather believes that seeking help with life challenges takes courage and is an act of self-love. It brings her much pleasure to assist you in meeting goals and/or processing life situations.
The mission at I Heart Therapy is to meet every client where they are, and create a space that encourages self acceptance, awareness, and insight. We aim to provide feedback that assists the clients in meeting their desired goals, as well as the ability to walk away with tools to maintain their growth, and the feeling of having had a positive, and useful therapeutic experience.
We serve adults of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientation and gender-identification struggling with relationship conflicts, depression, anxiety, and issues with self-esteem.
